ATAbooking Terms of use
Effective date: 2 November 2026
Who we are
ATAbooking is operated by AI Makers LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, United States (“ATA”, “we”). These terms cover our website, booking tools and integrations for travellers, AI builders and hotels. For legal, support or privacy enquiries, contact hello@atabooking.com.
Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. Hotels also accept our Hotel agreement, which governs their listing, booking-service fees, billing, suspension and exit. That agreement takes priority for those hotel-specific matters; it does not replace travellers’ rights or the hotel’s accommodation terms.
Finding and booking a stay
ATA helps you find accommodation and send a booking request to a hotel. The hotel provides the stay and sets its prices, availability, payment and cancellation rules. Review the hotel, dates, guest details, total price, currency and rules before authorising your assistant to request a booking. Availability and quotes can change until a hold or booking is accepted on the stated terms. Where a verification hold is offered, it lasts for the period shown and is not a reservation. Follow the confirmation instructions before it expires. Confirming a hold submits the booking request; it does not by itself mean the hotel has accepted it.
An ATA reference identifies your request; it is not, by itself, confirmation. A reservation is confirmed only when the hotel or its authorised system accepts it and the returned status says confirmed. The accommodation contract is between the traveller and the hotel. Do not rely on an assistant’s summary if it conflicts with the actual booking status or confirmation; contact us to resolve a discrepancy.
You pay the hotel directly under its disclosed policy, including any deposit or advance payment. The hotel handles accommodation invoices, refunds, cancellation charges and payment disputes. ATA’s hotel commission is governed by the Hotel agreement and is not an extra charge to the traveller. A cancellation may still incur the hotel’s disclosed charge even when no ATA commission is due.
Use the cancellation/change route shown in your confirmation or contact the hotel. A message to an assistant does not complete a cancellation unless the booking system confirms it. Contact ATA for problems with our service and the hotel for problems with the stay; we will reasonably help identify the right route.
Demo use
When marked DEMO, hotels and inventory are fictional. Requests do not create real reservations, contact a real hotel or take payment. Use fictional guest details. Information you submit can still be stored by the demo service as explained in the Privacy policy. Do not make travel plans based on a demo reference.
Travellers and authorised users
You must have legal capacity to book and meet the hotel’s age and check-in requirements. If you act for someone else or a business, you must have authority to do so and permission to provide their details. Supply accurate information and keep booking-management links and credentials private. Send only information needed for the task; do not put payment-card details, passwords, identity documents or sensitive medical information in tool requests or notes.
AI builders and hotels
Builders may connect through our documented interfaces. Show these terms and the Privacy policy before collecting or sending personal data. Get the traveller’s informed authorisation before creating or changing a booking, show the relevant price and rules, and clearly distinguish a hold, a submitted request and a hotel-confirmed reservation. Reuse the same idempotency key when retrying the same request, and use only a confirmation code the traveller has supplied. Do not silently repeat a booking request after an uncertain result; first establish whether it succeeded.
Use the minimum necessary permissions and data, respect rate limits, safeguard credentials and follow applicable law and platform terms. Do not send full chat histories, profile users from their booking data, misrepresent results, bypass protections or imply ATA endorses your integration. You remain responsible for your own application, notices and data handling.
Hotels must keep their information accurate, honour confirmed bookings and handle guest information under the Hotel agreement and their own privacy notice. Signing up must be done by someone authorised to bind the hotel.
Fair use, availability and responsibility
Do not create fraudulent bookings, probe other users’ records, disrupt the service, scrape private data or infringe others’ rights. We may limit or suspend access to protect users, address misuse or meet legal duties, explaining the reason where practicable. Suspension does not itself cancel existing hotel reservations or remove privacy rights. Hotel billing-related pauses follow the Hotel agreement.
We will use reasonable care to provide the service, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, a particular search result or that a hotel will accept a request. We are responsible for our own failures; the hotel is responsible for the accommodation it supplies. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, or anything the law does not allow us to exclude, or limits mandatory consumer rights. Any additional business liability limits belong in the Hotel agreement or a separately accepted builder agreement.
Changes and governing law
We will publish dated updates and give appropriate notice of material changes. Changes will not retrospectively alter confirmed booking terms; obtain any further acceptance required by law. You can stop using ATA at any time, while existing reservations and valid obligations continue.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Mexico, USA, and disputes are subject to the courts in New Mexico. This does not remove mandatory consumer protections or any right under applicable law to bring claims in your home jurisdiction.
